One of the "best places to see comedy in Sydney" - Time Out Sydney 2018
WHAT SHE SAID
Sydney's first and only weekly women's comedy night
What she said
What She Said is an all woman comedy night featuring established and emerging comics. With our performers ranging in experience from total first timers to seasoned professionals, we create a fun and supportive space where women can showcase their creativity and flex their funny muscles. What She Said is not just about displaying the great talent of our performers, it's also about creating a community where people connect with others, support emerging performers and wrap up their weekend with a night of laughs.

"I'm sure there will be many a future comedy hero who will have had their first gig at WSS. This is an amazingly supportive room filled with beautiful crowds every Sunday. EVERY FREAKIN' SUNDAY!"
- Lizzy Hoo, Just For Laughs, Sydney Fringe Comedy
"Since childhood I have always wanted to do standup; for years I have talked off my friends ears and decided that the greater community deserves to share the fun. What She Said made my first standup to be the least intimidating experience and rather the most wonderful, empowering and exciting experience of my life thus far. The room is like a big warm hug, filled with voices of different experience and perspective, equality would be understating things, BEST COMEDY ROOM IN THE WORLD, I said it, because it's true! Every chance to perform or watch is an honour!"
- Luisa Galloway, Actor and Comedian
